Beyond the Labels

This is an interactive workshop for staff and volunteers working with persons who have an addiction and a mental health problem.

Goals of the workshop :

• Define concurrent disorders.
• Examine and discuss attitudes and beliefs towards persons with addiction and mental health problems (concurrent disorders).
• Reflect and discuss ways of addressing and reducing stigma.
• Provide an opportunity for community service providers to network.
