Volunteer Positions

We are recruiting positive and responsible volunteers who can assist us with:

• Board of Directors who provide direction and vision to the Branch.
• Committee Work to contribute to the goals and achievements of various Branch working groups and committees.
• Mental Health Promotion Activities such as manning display booths and assisting with public speaking.
• Fundraising Activities such as Bingo's, golf tournaments and other special events.
• Peer Resource Centres assisting with social and recreational activities offered at the centres, which supports those living with a mental illness or are socially isolated.
• Collective Kitchens which provides clients with a group experience preparing nutritious meals. Volunteers would provide assistance to participants.
• Office Help is ideal for those looking for experience in assisting with our lending library, data entry and telephone work.

Bingo Volunteer

The Canadian Mental Health Association-Champlain East is currently recruiting volunteers to work at the Bingo hall in Cornwall on Monday afternoons from 12:00 to 4:00pm. Our volunteers usually work approximately 2-3 times per month. If interested please contact Rosanne at 613-933-5845.
