CMHA Champlain East  volunteers are a vital part of our team. By giving generously of their time, talents and energy to support the work of our organization throughout the year, volunteers make many of our programs possible.
That’s why from April 15 to 21, CMHA Champlain East joins organizations across the country in celebrating Canada’s 12.7 million volunteers during National Volunteer Week. Volunteering can take many forms. At CMHAs across the country, volunteers are found working on special projects or programs, within fundraising activities or serving on local boards. All of these activities help improve quality of life for individuals and families who are affected by mental health issues.
At CMHA [Champlain East, volunteers help contribute in different ways that really assist in bring Mental Health Matters to light in our community and those we work with. The various ways in which volunteers contribute are their involvement on our board and board committees, fundraising events (such as bingo, golf tournament, special events), collective kitchen, resource center, awareness campaigns, volunteer speakers and  mental health promotion.
From all of us at CMHA Champlain East, thank you to the amazing volunteers we work with every day. We truly appreciate your dedication in helping us support our community.
